Oh! Tomorrow's Halloween, isn't it? Everyone here seems to be talking about it lately. I don't think I'll be dressing up though, I couldn't think of anything to dress as. :[ But I'll be telling ghost stories to everyone here tomorrow! :] Hopefully some other people will tell some too, else I might run out of stories. :];;;

I now owe my life to Higgins. :] Quite literally. :]

This amazing man staged quite the rescue this morning, saving me from confinement and a trip to the gallows. :] He and a few fine theatre friends dressed up as members of the royal navy and convinced the captain of the ship I was confined in that they were to bring me the rest of the way to Britain and managed to find enough money to pay them the reward. :] We are now on our way back to Boston, a trip which I hope won't take too long.

Amy, you wouldn't happen to mind if I stayed with you at Dovecote from now on, would you? :]

Speaking of Amy, have you been writing more of my life already? :[ That first book of yours made me popular enough, seeing as how everyone I meet knows my entire history. However, I do quite like the cover art. :]

As it so happens, my bite did get infected. :[ Thankfully, the guards believed me when I said I was ill and let the doctor on the ship take a look at me. :] With his help, the infection should go away in another day or so. :] Since the bite was on my wrist, it pained me to use my laptop, which is why I haven't been on here that much as of late. :[

Last night while I was asleep a rat bit me. :[ I reckon I got the wound cleaned up well enough, but I just hope the little bugger doesn't have any diseases. :[ It might take the guards a while to figure out that I'm not faking illness if I happen to get infected with something. :[

((ooc: Just for the record, I am taking liberty with Jacky's fandom's storyline and having her being arrested and on a ship. Because L.A. Meyer left off with a cliffhanger that I can't really do anything with. When the new book comes out, I'll probably just do what the HP people do -- ignore the canon and just make stuff up.))

Hello everyone. :] I'm not very good at this whole writing thing, so please be forgiving me. My name's Mary Faber, but no one's called me "Mary" in a long time. I go now by the name Jacky, and I've earned the nicknames Bloody Jack, Jackaroe, La Belle Jeune Fille Sans Merci (though I wasn't nothing but merciful to them damn frogs each time, so I don't know how that one was spread), and Tonda-Lay-O, Queen of the Ocean Sea. This is to be my journal, an account of my adventures on this Internet, and I hope it will prove to be of some interest to some of you fine folk out there. I'm hoping I can befriend some of you, so as to not be so lonely while sharing my experiences on here. :]
